Project Purpose & Description 1) The objective of the project is to increase public awareness on the FEALAC Youth Center and FEALAC Youth Forum as a collaborative forum between young people from East Asia and Latin America Regions

2) The project contributed to achieving the purpose and key objectives of FEALAC by boosting the awareness on FEALAC Youth Center among youth from both regions.
Activity Description & Outcome Activity Deion:

Indonesia has successfully hosted Indonesia FEALAC Youth Conference in 2015, in Bandung, West Java. On the sidelines of the Conference, the Mayor of Bandung has kindly offered the city of Bandung as the Secretariat of FEALAC Youth Forum, later known as FEALAC Youth Center as a follow up of the 8th FEALAC Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in Busan, Republic of Korea, on August 2017. Located in Bandung Creative Hub, West Java, Indonesia, the FEALAC Youth Center serves as the host of the FEALAC Youth Forum and performing its tasks as a media to interact and empower youth of both East Asia and Latin America regions.

In order to boost the awareness on FEALAC Youth Center among youth from both regions, several programs will be conducted through offline and online activities. The offline activities will include foreign language course and mentorship on entrepreneurship while the online activities will include web seminar on entrepreneurship, sport industry or other topics of the interest of FEALAC youth.

1. Activity on 2018
Activities carried out under the FEALAC Youth Center were language course (English and Spanish), as well as entrepreneurial discussion.
Colombian artist, Diana Ortonez, famously known as La Dania has contributed mural painting in FEALAC Youth Center. The mural painting titled "Diversity and Unity" to describe the dynamics of youth in the region of East Asia and Latin America.

2. Activity on 2019

In 2019, Ministry of Foreign Affairs in collaboration with University of Padjajaran in Bandung, FEALAC Youth Forum, anakmuda.net, Wedinc, ASEAN Law Student Association of the University of Padjajaran, Bandung City Regional Government organized exhibition, seminar, workshop as well as site visit to FEALAC Youth Center.

The participants of the projects were:
a. Exhibition: Embassy of Brazil, Embassy of Colombia, and Embassy of Malaysia in Jakarta
b. Seminar: 300 public participants
c. Workshop: 20 women entrepreneurs
d. Site visit to FEALAC Youth Center: Embassy of Colombia in Jakarta, Embassy of Malaysia in Jakarta, Indonesia Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

3. Activity on 2020

This project was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia in cooperation with Women Entrepreneur Community of Femina Magazine. The participants of the project were 220 women entrepreneurs in Indonesia.


Outcomes :
The project’s outcomes were:
1. Better understanding of other cultures and languages;
2. The creation of network and communication lines among FEALAC youth;
3. The increased capacity, creativity and entrepreneurship of FEALAC youth;
4. The tangible cooperation among FEALAC youth
