| Project Purpose & Description | Latin America and China Policy and Knowledge Summit is created and co-organized by Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Inter-American Development Bank. As an exchange platform for high level representatives from political and business sectors between China and Latin American countries, the Summit aims at promoting communication and dialogue in areas of common interest between China and Latin America. | |
| Activity Description & Outcome | About 120 government officials, entrepreneurs and diplomats from China, Ecuador, Colombia, Costa Rica, Chile, Peru, Jamaica attended the event. With the theme of “Leadership and Capacity Building of Senior Managers in Public Sectors”, participants deepened their understanding of the development paths and models of China, and conducted discussions on the Chinese experiences on personnel administration and social governance. | |
