| Activity Description & Outcome |
[Outcomes] There has been an increased relevance and importance of utilizing online platform in the Public Relations. In this sense, Korea hoped that, through the FEALAC Supporters Program, FEALAC can increase its online presence in Korea and that it can reach out to more diverse population about FEALAC’s importance and relevance for Korea’s foreign policy. Especially, by creating popular social media accounts such as Instagram and YouTube, it is expected that FEALAC Korea now has new medium to connect and communicate with the public. The FEALAC Supporters has published more than 70 posts and created 6 YouTube Videos about FEALAC using the online platform. Such active participation from the FEALAC Supporters has created positive reinforcement in the promotion project of FEALAC. Additionally, we also hope to support and reinforce the purpose of the International Communication Plan in the Santo Domingo Declaration through this program by promoting and enhancing the visibility of the FEALAC through university students. [Next Steps] Korea is currently planning to recruit 2022 FEALAC Supporters for the fourth time. Additionally, Korea hopes that this program can be spread out to other FEALAC member countries. By doing so, members can also coordinate the collaboration projects to bring university students from two regions closer thereby fulfilling the goal of FEALAC to facilitate the cooperation between two regions. In this way, the FEALAC Supporters program can be globalized and iconized, making it consistent FEALAC regional projects in the upcoming future. LINK: https://blog.naver.com/fealac_korea |
