Project Purpose & Description The government of Japan started FEALAC young leader invitaion program in 2001.
The purpose of this program is to deepen mutual understandings among young leaders of FEALAC member countries and to learn about certain topics which contribute addressing common challenges that we share.
Activity Description & Outcome In 2019, the government invited 8 young government officials from FEALAC member countries such as Paraguay, Chile, Guatemala, El Salvador, Ecuador, Nicaragua, Malaysia and Mongolia.
The theme of this program was "Expansion of the areas of activities for small and medium size enterprises (SMEs) using technologies". As a country that has dedicated to the development of technology, Japan shared its experience and lessons with the invited young leaders.
