Project Purpose & Description This project aims to strengthen the capacities in Spanish Language of East Asian tourist guides and journalists, by providing 58 scholarships to learn Spanish during one academic semester in several Colombian universities located in different cities. This project also serves the purpose to creating cultural ties among participant countries.
Activity Description & Outcome Students participate in Spanish courses during one academic semester in Colombian universities known by their high quality level in teaching Spanish as a foreign language. Also, beneficiaries have the opportunity to travel through the country, which is suited to their professional profiles as tourist guides and journalists specialized in tourism.
