Project Purpose & Description

Global Campus is a digital platform developed by the National Directorate for International Cooperation of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Technology of the Argentine Republic. It is part of its International Scholarships Program and was presented on September 5, 2018, in the framework of the I Meeting of Ministers of Education of the G20 in the city of Mendoza. Its objective is to promote the international mobility of students, teachers, artists and researchers, and democratize access to the offer of scholarships to study abroad.

Activity Description & Outcome

From its creation until the end of August 2019, Global Campus received more than 250,000 visits from students and researchers from 146 countries. In the same period the most requested scholarships were those of Education and Teacher Training and the most sought-after countries in Argentina were Spain, the United Kingdom, Italy and France.
