- Project Purposes
- The roundtable aimed to promote dialogue between Asian and Latin American countries on enhanced South–South and triangular cooperation. It sought to review successful experiences and explore opportunities for interregional development cooperation through international organizations, and bilateral initiatives.
- Activity Description
- Mongolia, in cooperation with the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), co-organized and chaired the side event entitled “Roundtable on Opportunities for Enhanced South–South Cooperation between Asia and Latin America” on 4 December 2025. The roundtable brought together representatives from Asian and Latin American countries, international organizations, and development agencies for an interactive exchange on current practices, challenges, and future prospects for practical collaboration.
