II. Executive Summary
- Project Purposes
- FEALAC JVP: Indonesia 2025 aims to enhance second-track diplomacy and collaboration between FEALAC Member countries, particularly between journalists from both regions, as well as introducing Indonesia's advances in various sectors.
- Activity Description
- This year's activity includes a city tour to introduce Indonesia's rich culture and history, as well as its modern public transportation; visit to the Cirata Floating Solar Panel Power Plant to showcase Indonesia's commitment and efforts on renewable energy resources technology; and a journalists dialogue with representatives of Indonesian journalists and media, to enhance understanding and share perspectives on the role of media in battling hoax and disinformation.
- Outcomes
- The activity has garnered relations between journalists from Latin America and Indonesia, especially potential collaboration between Indonesian and Latin American media.
- Next Steps
- The journalists will produce articles based on their experience in Indonesia
