- The China-LAC Business Summit, established in 2007, is a promotional mechanism and a platform that seeks greater economic cooperation between China and Latin America and the Caribbean. The 10th edition was held in Tangshan, China.

- The two-day summit was attended by more than 1,500 representatives from international organizations, government departments, trade promotion agencies, chambers of commerce as well as companies from China and Latin American countries.__
