II. Executive Summary
- Project Purposes
- The "Bridge to the Future" Training Camp for Young Leaders from China and Latin America and the Caribbean was an initiative raised by the Chinese President Xi Jinping during China-Latin America and the Caribbean Summit in 2014. In the next 10 years, it aims to invite 1000 young leaders from Latin America and the Caribbean countries to seminar, conference and training in China.
- Activity Description
- Four sessions have bean held and the last event was held in Chengdu.
- Outcomes
- 30 participants from 10 Latin American the Caribbean countries attended the forth training camp, which improved the mutual understanding and the friendship between the youths of the two regions.
- Next Steps
- The 5th "Bridge to the Future" Training Camp for Young Leaders from China and Latin America and the Caribbean will be held in China in 2019.
