II. Executive Summary
Project Purposes
The Seminar for Young Cadres of Latin America and the Caribbean is a mechanism established in 2010. It aims at making the young elites of Latin America and the Caribbean have a better idea of the Chinese history and reality from a objective perspective.
Activity Description
Nine sessions have taken place since then.
Outcomes
Twenty young cadres from several Latin American countries participated in the 9th event. Through the seminars and field trips, the participants could have better understanding about the Chinese Communist Party, the history and reality of China, China-Latin America cooperation and young entrepreneurs in China.
Next Steps
The 10th seminar will be celebrated in China in 2019. It is planned to invite 20 young leaders from governments and parties of the Latin American and the Caribbean to attend the event.
