Project Purposes
Summarize the existing experience of China-Latin America youth development cooperation, join hands to work together for development and revitalization.
Activity Description
On July 18, the China-Latin America Youth Development Forum, themed "Gathering Youth Strength for Shared Development and Revitalization," was held in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province. More than 50 participants attended the event, including leaders of youth organizations from the Ibero-American Youth Organization and nine Latin American and Caribbean countries, key youth project representatives, and Chinese youth delegates from related fields. They gathered to explore new opportunities and missions for youth development cooperation between China and Latin America.
Outcomes
Youth representatives from various countries engaged in in-depth discussions on key topics, including: "The Most Pressing Issues and Challenges Facing Youth in Different Countries" "The Role of Youth in Their Nations' Pursuit of Modernization Paths" "How China-Latin America Youth Can Advance the Building of a China-Latin America Community with a Shared Future" The forum also launched the "China-Latin America Youth Short Video Competition", jointly organized by the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) and China Youth Daily.
Next Steps
The competition will collect, evaluate, and showcase short video submissions, highlighting inspiring stories of China-Latin America youth collaboration in pursuing shared development and fostering a community with a shared future.
