II. Executive Summary

Project Purposes
Project Overview:
In response to the increasing interest in Thai pop culture and language, in collaboration with the Thailand Foundation, MFA Thailand is proud to present Thailand’s FEALAC National Project; a comprehensive Thai Language Training Online Course. Building on our longstanding commitment to sharing knowledge on Thai culture and expertise, this project offers an Thai language learning experience tailored for FEALAC member countries.

Background & Rationale:
With the soaring global popularity of Thai series—including the rapidly growing fanbases for Boy Love and Girls Love (BL & GL) narratives in East Asia, and recently in Latin America—there has never been a better time to learn Thai language. This surge in international interest has fueled demand for authentic insights into Thai language and cultural expressions, driving our initiative to develop online courses that cater to both beginners and cultural enthusiasts.
